We have visited for lunch twice now. I had a cuban sandwich and my husband had ox tail. Both were delicious and portions were generous! The owner is very friendly. Eat local! It's great!

Everything we’ve tried so far has been delicious, and the samples were such a sweet surprise and super generous. Your customer service and kindness really stand out. I love coming here and stopping in to say hi and grab a spicy patty and some delicious homemade chutney! Slims guava pastries and strawberry cream cheese are a favorite too! Her prices are great and the service is next level.

Wonderful food, wonderful vibes, & a wonderful atmosphere! The food, environment , and vibes ( including the music ) will not disappoint! If you’re looking for great food, great prices, along with great conversation, this is definitely your place. On top of that - she always has her & her workers wearing gloves, hair caps, etc. you can enjoy your food while feeling safe with the food you’re eating. Slim is the best.

Slim is GREAT people. I was in the area to help a friend and stopped in randomly for something quick. She gave me free samples, a free beef patty, chocolate.. it feels like walking into your families place. And the food was amazing on top of it all. If theres any place thats worth visiting and supporting, I promise you its this one.

I have always said the best food comes from small hidden kitchens and Slim's Cafe just proved my statement again. The shrimp and grits was extremely good. Arguably the best I have ever had. The lady behind the counter was attentive and generous. Find this place and give it a shot, I know I will be back soon.
